The ONE TIME I forget my umbrella, all hell breaks loose.

I am soaking wet and the highlighter on the pages in my bag bled through and stained the ass of my pants.

Friday is going the way of Wednesday, that is to say at midnight it ceases to exist in my mind.

And now I've got to hope I have time to go home and change or spend the night at the levee looking like a remarkably stupid drowned rat.

What are the freakin' odds???

On the other hand, it's really hard not to laugh. As aggravated as I am, it's kind of funny, the way I squish around the office.

Yes, the gods to seem to have abandoned me. I think it's to do with my no longer being at Dickinson--more spefically, Dining Services.

I'll look into it and see what I can do. In the mean time, you have my sincerest apologies on your predicament. ^_^

That always happened to me in England: if I didn't have the umbrella in my bag, it would piss down upon me in buckets. If I did have the umbrella, it wouldn't do anything but threaten to piss down. Of course, the question here is: what the hell was I doing even out without an umbrella in a country where it rains compulsively???
