Frustration continues

Wrote four pages of Sworn Duty. They're CRAP. Wrote some of Flower Boys. UTTER CRAP. And there are problems I didn't see before with Rose/Fox and Doug's story that I didn't see before.

Whatever. I'll figure them out.

In the meantime, love that Shoujo Beat is translating God Child. One of my favorite series ever (which is weird, because it's hardcore kaori yuki angst at it's best) and next chapter Jezebel finally appears. I don't care how fucked up or evil or pyscho that man is, he's dead sexy and so heartbreakingly tragic. And Cassion ;_; They need to hurry the fuck up and get to books 5-8. Dr. Jezebel is mad omfguh in Megan-land, yes indeed (this icon really doesn't do him justice. I'd scan the manga I've got if anyone but me cared. So pretty *_*)

Ahhh! Another God's Child Fan. Just started reading Shojo Beat, and have fallen in love with most of the stories, but am loving God's Child the best. Just wish I didn't have to wait for the next part each month. (although the anticipation really does make it all the better when you finally get to read it....til it ends and you have to wait again!)

There really is something about dead sexy and heartbreakingly tragic that pushes all my buttons!

I don't understand most of the Japanese, but even so it tears me up. It's so much fun reading it in English. I'm going positively twitchy waiting for more (which, as you said, is really half the fun).

Hmmm! Dr Jezebel? He looks very "interesting". Any similarities to Muraki from Descendants? I really love the artwork. It's simply beautiful. I'd give my eyeteeth to be able to create beauty like that. *sighs at the injustice of it all!*
Now do I understand that Gods Child is the second part of Cain? (not that I have read that one either, but I'd like to find it!)*wishes I wasn't at work so I could re-read my latest copy of Shojo Beat!)

Definitely some similarities to Muraki. In fact I'd be willing to be Jezebel is worse, just because he has less technology and is completley mortal. Kaori's artwork is gorgeous. I loved it in Angel Sanctuary, but God Child is what really hooked me.

It is. I think she was working on it, stopped to Angel Sanctuary, then picked it back up as "God Child." I still don't have the initial series, but anyway God Child is much much better artistically and story-wise. I know sakura-crisis used to have the scanlations, I don't know if they took them down or not.

I keep pausing in my writing to reread Shoujo. I'd get a lot more done if I wasn't such a sad, sad fangirl XD

I wanted to let you know, maderr that I've really enjoyed your work. I'm a big fan of yours right now. You're stuff is awesome (I once caught an "over and out" that made me wince but everything else has been awesome).

Just wanted to put that out there.
