Do you know how hard it is to type when you can barely feel your fingers? My hands have always been the worst when it comes to the cold. Even in the middle of summer they're cold. Now? Damn near frozen.

Really am going to have to work double time tomorrow to finish everything I swore I'd have finsihed by Monday -_-;; Accounting fore beta-ing, you probably won't seem my completed story until Tuesday.

Ugh. The worst thing about being cold here is that I'm the only one suffering. I don't know why that is. I just can't take the cold at all I guess. It sucks being the only one miserable because it just makes you feel like an idiot. But I grew up in Okinawa and California. A hundred degress is as nothing, but anything below seventy I want to hibernate. Bleh.

All right. Something hot to drink and then I'm going to freakin' right. Heh. Only the oldest of the old timers here probably even remember the story I'm working on. I doubt anyone really remembers it. But Sammie, Ki-chan and Sarah all heartily approve the revival, so I shall push on despite my poor, freezing fingers XD XD XD

Also. Finished reading Vampire Hunter D: Raiser of Gales. A lot of it is the sort of silly, over the top descripitiosn I generally dislike, but it fits the books. Not anything OMG amazing but they're fun to read. And as there are only three vampires in all of fictiondom I truly love, I'm willing to tolerate a lot of cheezy description. Though honestly, how many times does the reader need to be told how breathtakingly, bewitchingly, astoundingly, darkly, appealing to women *and* men beautiful D is? And the third book is the basis for the third movie! So excited! But it doesn't come out 'til January...Ah, well. Maybe I'll write a bit and then go watch the movie. So pretty! I love it because they worked so hard to match the anime art to Yoshitaka's artwork. *_*

Heh, that's funny, you're exactly like me in terms of heat, fingers, and all. A biology professor once explained it to me as 'peripheral vascoconstriction' and in normal humans it happens somewhere in the twenty-degree range, I think. In me it's 72 F. -.- All the blood flow to the 'non-essentials' aka hands and feet and stuff starts lessening so that the heat in your body can keep internal organs and your brain warm. It's weird.

BUT, nice warm hats help a lot. :) Cause if your brain stays warm, your body doesn't feel the need to deprive other parts of their needed heat. ^.^

And, concerning VHD:RoG, the mailing list had a field day with all the flowery descriptions. I don't remember what was eventually concluded, something to do with cultural differences, I think, but pretty much all of us western readers think it's silly.

.... but since he's so yummy, we'll still forgive his author. ^.~

*cheerfully opens windows to let 56 degree weather in the room*

Did I mention that both my roommates have professed to loving the cold as much as me?

I hope things warm up for you though, cold is no fun if you don't want it.

I love cold weather, even if I end up having frozen fingers and toes. At least, I prefer it to hot weather, which is just ugh. >_>

Distractions: Always there to keep me from my appropriate path and assigned goals. Meg will hurt you--I think--if she finds out you're feeding my procrastination. ^_^
