What a perfectly crappy Monday. Does anyone else ever wake up in a perfectly wretched mood and damned if you can figure out why. Tried all day not to give into it. But I had no one to talk to, the same bloody tasks, this side of nothing to eat all day and I come home to a messy house and edits I don't much want to make.

I wish I had a story to make us all feel better. But unless you want the new beginning of Unequal Children, I got nothing. I guess I could just spoil what I'm working on, but I promised myself I would'n't post it until I finished.

And now to fix dinner, since the roommate is apparently not feeling well.

I actually had this random idea for a het story last night. Was thinking about male twins and how fun that was, and I thought it would be interesting to have a het story with a pair of male twins, one of whom is interested (this interest is mutual) in a girl about two or three years younger than he is, and the other who ends up with said girl's older sister, who's like five years older than the boys.

And the older sister would have grown up helping her parents look after them, and I don't think she's the 'traditional' idea of pretty. And I think maybe the boys went overseas for a little bit (a year?) and pretty much changed a lot. The younger girl is the more playful type, while the older one is more... serious, maybe a bit more protective and possibly slightly low on the self-esteem... (I'm wondering if she tends to just not bother about her own stuff, partially because she thinks she's not worth it, but she never quite couched it in those terms, even to herself.)

And you know, the sad thing is that I'd never write it. :P
