Don't fuck with me
Typically I am described (I think) as alternately really loud or really quiet, a bit spastic but intelligent, and I like to think pretty nice. Okay, so I have a "propensity for violence" but it's only ever in fun - I don't take any pleasure in actual violence.
So generally I'm easy to get along with, but goddamn even I have my limit. If you're going to walk into my store and get pissed b/c some other ass pretended to be you - we can't read minds bitch - don't think you'll get anything free by antagozing MY crew. They did the best they could, you got your pizza so fucking lay off. The one woman must've realized I was getting ready to kill the two of them, because she told the other woman to be quiet, took her free two liter and they left. Don't fuck with me...
Next was Asshole - I told him carry out time was 30 minutes (clearly the phones ringing nonstop and the fact that I couldn't leave oven for fear of pizzas overflowing, not to mention the profusion of drivers and crew everywhere weren't enought of a clue that we were BUSY) and he said "it's not at Pizza Hut""Then fucking go to pizza hut asshole". I just Looked at him and heard not another word more.
Last was the driver I helped get fired/to quit. He disappeared for almost two hours taking deliveries and we almost thought he'd stolen money from a customer (hard to explain, but it turned out he hadn't). But it took him so long to deliver the freakin' food that he wound up costing us more money that he made. After that, he was standing near the phone counter - okay fine. I was ignoring him, bagging pizzas for delivery. I made an offhand comment - not to him, just aloud - about how annoying it was that drivers couldn't throw the tickets away when they're done (order tickets go w/each bag, so the drivers know where to go, etc. ostensibly they should throw these away when done, so new tickets can go in. they don't, b/c they're too fucking lazy. I get annoyed b/c I'm already doing enough work for three at ovens and it slows me down having to throw the old ticks away.anyway...). He literally said "Just shutup".
MISTAKE
Nancy, the headmanager, comes back up fron. I say to her, while James is on the phone and can hear me, "I don't like drivers telling me to shut up." She asked "What happened?!" I explained, after James got off the phone she put him in his place, he didn't like and he quit/was fired (It was coming, he just spared himself that little disgrace).
So that was my exciting Saturday - did I mention that an assistant manager didn't show up, so we were short some serious help? I was supposed to be done at 11:00 and didn't get home to 12:00. And Monday Nancy goes in for surgery, so she wont' be back until December 15th. That's okay, I have my duties and they're not easy ones. I know one or two people that'll try to push me around, but like Nancy herself said (and was sort of proven tonight) I can be "Mean and bossy when I need to be." Damn fucking skippy.

Thankfully no - there are four other assistant managers. Though how many are left by Dec. 15th I couldn't tell you.

Heh - thanks bunches. With that, I am off to work. Have a good evening, mayhap I'll catch you later tonight.
Good luck with the flowers.
