Nah 911 would be better.. I just finished changing the ink cartridge in the blueprint machine and inhaled a lot of dry ink... i need to sit down for a moment...
ug yes. the problem is that the blueprint machine weighs about 500 lbs and the cartridge gets loaded in the back. So it took two of us to pull it away from the wall and then I had to get the manual out because the last time the ink ran out the Tech was there and he did it for me. Much fumbling ensues as I try and pull the cartridge our, which by the way is 3 feet long. I finally get it out and slowly back away from the copier and start to head for the trash can when *whack* I hit the end of it against the copier. The end of the toner is open so the ink can get out... and it exploded. I had ink from the tips of my fingers to above my elbow, on my pants (khaki) and on my face. *sigh* That stuff messes with your mind when you inhale it...
heh heh thanks. I was a mess when I got home. and there was this perfect chance to rant in my inbox.. I couldn't help myself ;) But then I wandered over to Torque Press and bought myself a few Thanksgiving presents and a Smirnoff ;)
Happy Turkey Day BTW
I have no idea how many of those I go through in a week. They are great!
*grin* I've already hit the stuffing today ;) Mom had just finished stuffing the turkeys (yes plural) when I wandered into the kitchen.. Bowl + fork + stuffing = yumma.
I thin I've got one or two left in the fridge.. and IGA is open until 4.. I may have to get cleaned up and go out for more...
mmm desserts.. We've got a double layer pumpkin pie in the fridge that I want to eat SO BADLY but mom would murder me..
Oh yes. This is feasting Brinkman style. On th menu for tonight: Two 13.5 pound turkeys Stuffing Green bean Casserole Oyster Casserole Corn Crescent Rolls Macaroni and Cheese Broccoli Cheese Rice Casserole Sour Cream Mash Potatoes Chocolate Silk Pie Double Layer Pumpkin pie and After Dinner Mints
After a short trip upstairs it looks like the trip is a go. My 17 year old sister has a longer request list that what I was going for in the first place >_<
Mmm...I just finished a light lunch and you're really making me hungry.
Our menu isn't so impressive, but there's only four of us here now and there will only be three again Sunday...We're having the turkey o'death with my mom's stuffing, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes, deviled eggs, and this really nummy sweet potato casserole. Then chocolate pie and lemon cake for desserts - along with the pumpkin pie.
MMM deviled eggs... Turkey o'death? Do I want to know?
Heh well there are only 6 of us eating tonight ;)
Yes I do think it's time to raid the kitchen again...

And bless the little guy's heart JD pipes up can I have some of that nonalcoholic champagne stuff you bought last time?

Date: 2003-11-27 07:20 pm (UTC)That's okay, my sister is sixteen and I give her smirnoff off and on. Especially when she's using inappropriate language while doing math homework.
Lock your brother up and don't let him grow up. Something that cute shouldn't be allowed to escape. that's too cute!

I fear it's almost to late to do that... When people saw him at the con last weekend nobody recognized him at first!
