Now there's an idea
Feb. 14th, 2006 08:36 amOn reading the History Channe's 'History of Valentine's Day'
They mention how they used to do a sort of lottery for hooking up the singles. Women put their name in a jar, and men drew names and there you go. Hooked up for the year, often it led to marriage.
So two ideas here. One, the more obvious, a la Harry Potter someone puts someone else's name in the jar and there is much anger and angsting and ultimately excessive cuteness.
Or, more fun and probably involing several people, a la the Palace of Keys participants put names in the jar, and players draw numbers and do whatever with the two names they 'draw' How fun would that be? Who wants to play?
