itunes question

I'm finally transferring music from one comp to the other. But I moved it all as .rars. Is there anyway to get itunes to download it all at once or do I really have to import one song at a time? I can't seem to find a way to do it all at once, unless I get ride of itunes, redownload it and *then* it will import everything. I know I'm just missing something. Help?

Um, it improved since I stayed home most of the day, and ended up having a glass of wine at the party I just came from. Oh, and it rained. Lots.

But kitties are still trying my patience. XP I'm so not letting them piss me off again. Evil kitties.
