It's the year of upsets, apparently. Dad's team got their ass kicked by GMU in the first round, and there have been so many teams from the Big 10 that have been upset and shown the door. :)
Of course, in the 2003-2004 season, my team went 0-16 in conference, so the fact that they made it to the second round of the tourney against LSU was a miracle.
