Downside: On my laptop and my wireless isn't working. Nor do I have a good way to transfer it.

Ah, well. Means I'll probably look it over again in the morning and spare my poor betas an error or three ^^:

You walk over to your desktop, unplug the network cable from the desktop, plug that same network cable into the laptop, network as needed, unplug the laptop, plug back in desktop.

Man, by this point I'm paranoid it will disappoint. Going up shortly; I wound up running late this morning (as in: the correct way to do things is turn off alarm clock, get out of bed. Not turn off alarm clock, go back to sleep).
