graduate school
Jan. 19th, 2004 11:19 amWell, the determination to become a student again has begun in earnest. I still need to take the GRE's to apply to most of these, but at least I'm getting something done. So far I'm looking at London (Yeah!), Hawai'i, California, and Oregon (where I have family, albeit scary family). What other schools have impressive Japanese Studies programs? Hmm...
And the writing continues. Mostly because I can't check my damned email because msn has decided to be a royal bitch for the past three hours.

And that's assuming any of them accept me. I'm not so sure I'm that great a student. Especially after taking a year off to do essentially nothing.

Going for "Japanese Studies" with a specialty in popular culture.

Date: 2004-01-22 02:18 am (UTC)quite a bit - oddly enough any degree qualifies you for food slavely (I'm thinking hell no), or I could get a teaching certificate and do that, or be a translater, any gov't job...depending on how I feel by the time I (if I do) get it, I may then try for the PhD. But that's another 3-5 years of school.../rambling.
