maderrFirst day back...actully went rather well at first. I am always kinda surprised that so many people are actually happy to see me again. Then I remember that I'm the gullible slave and it all becomes clear.
Lots of nice changes - we stop delivery at 10:00 now. better still, we don't deliver during the day anymore. downside? I really only work nights now. mergh.
so we're cleaning, almost done. ready to start counting money - and these fuckers walk in the store and order food. and there's the lovely phonecall for a four pie. so we were stuck there 'til midnight anyway.
This is actually something that happened to our sister store, which is about 45 minutes away from us. Apparently this guy walked into the store, raising his gun and pulling down his mask. Except the two guys working saw him coming, and ran to hide in the bathroom. Guy comes in, starts looking over the counter, calling for someone.
Finally decides to just go behind the counter, knocks the computer on the floor and starts trying to break into the cash drawer itself. Can't manage it, gets pissed and just drops it and runs. that took him long enought that the workers managed to get his license plate number.
I love food service, it attracts only the Idiots of idiots.
