Read Storyteller by, uhm. ... Amy Thompson. It's relly pretty and really really bad with the cliches in some spots, but it was an awesome book. And sad. omg.
I think the whole series is called Codex Alera. I accidently picked up the second book, Academ's Furies, instead of the first, but read it anyway and now badly need the third one (they're by Jim Butcher). It's not coming out 'til December X_X On top of that, I pine for Keys to the Kingdom as well as the last Obsidian book. I could read the Bronze Canticles, i guess, I think that series is finished and I have the first one. 2 & 3 should be easy to get...
Still. Hate waiting. These people are getting paid to entertain me, they should cater to my desires better than this XD
