So today was a day off, because I traded with another guy - he took my shift tonight and I'm taking his Sunday. But the day manager got sick today, so I worked the last 4 1/2 hours of his shift. Not bad really, a little hectic. Added bonus of two newbies, who don't quite know how to handle a spastic, somewhat hyper me (how I usually am at work, it's why everyone calls me a freak but also why the workers like me and not the other bossy, "I don't have to wash dishes" manager. /bragging). There are few things more fun than confounding people. Especially what with my habit of shouting "listen up slaves" whenever I have to tell them something.

Also on the plus side, they'll have to either pay me overtime at the end of the week *crosses fingers* or hack off some of my hours, freeing up one of my evenings. Plus the bossman came in tonight, so I have the added bonus of not needing to deal with him.

Now onto the writing. And food. Bastards called me in right at lunch time.

Hey, that's a great icon you've got there.:-) So when I go to visit my friend, should I be one of those idiots who comes in and orders ten pizzas at the end of the night?;-)

heh - thanks. I'm wondering though if I can legally do that as the evil little gremlin owns me.

do it at my store, I'll kill you. a half hour before close is fine, but five minutes??? That's insta-death my friend, insta-death.

then again I'm pretty lenient with friends and those that write stuff that makes me happy. So you might get off with just a light beating.

*ducks* It looks like you're in luck--my friend lives a little too far away from you. And I was really hoping I could show up unexpectedly.;-)

You seriously might have shown up? That would have been hysterical.

Heh, why not? Unless if you really didn't want me to, I would have respected your wishes.

oh heck no. that would have been a trip. I'dve freaked to the point my workers would be scared of me all over again.

You don't like surprises? What if it were just to say hello? Yeah, I suppose that would have been freakish, too. ("Just who the hell are YOU?")

oh no, I mean freaked in a good way. Would've made my night after the initial "what the HELL are you doing HERE?"

*laughs* Well, now I really wish I could go there... Is there anything interesting in North Carolina?

There's tons of stuff near the coast, and down in Wilmington, or Raleigh. Pretty much nil in my area though. We're just a nice stop on 95 for those going to or leaving VA.
