I bitch before work and everything is smooth. Huh.

Anyway, Friday's never change. Exhausting though, especially as I was stuck on oven's with C all night. Ovens from...4-9, which is actually light work for me. All three of the bitches too. We did about $400 in the first hour, $600 the next, then a little over $800 b/t six & seven. blech. Up to ticket...325 when I left? The next time someone asks me in a stunned voice, "You don't like pizza?!?" I'm going to hit them. Hard.

And I succeded in burning myself. Twice. And smashing my hand against the pizza warmer. But I also am one up on this one witch, and was so hyper toward the end I was able to terrify all the workers. Except the new guy. But that's only b/c he never was a target. Scared a few customers too when I started laughing hysterically over the second burn. Damned pizza grease jumping out of the pan to attack me. The first time I smacked one of the heating lamps, I think I tripped and that's how I smashed my hand. And what do I get for my pain? My workers laughing at me. So yeah, Friday's don't change.

This actually begins Tuesday, when this snotty "I'm friends with your boss" woman calls to complain that her pizza was made wrong, but she didn't feel like coming back to get a new one so (and the whore actually said this, grrr), "You can just give me a free pizza next time. Just put it in the computer to give me a free pizza." Then she hung up, and I went back to the makeline rolling me eyes and saying not-nice things about the boss' supposed friends (you should hear what he says about these people)

So she came in today, having ordered a pizza. Says she's supposed to get a free one, blah blah. I look it up, what a surprise - it's not in the computer. Funny that. I ask her "do you know which manager you spoke with? If you know, I can speak with him or her." She actually wanted me to stop working and walk around (or call the ones not working) asking every manager if they remembered something. Umm...no. It's Friday, we're all actually rather busy. I tell her no can do, she kinda stares, I kinda stare, she mutters that she'll pay for the pizza. Maybe it's kinda mean, I dunno. I get sick of her type. One last point: We didn't make her pizza wrong. I made it, I know for a fact my oven's person boxed it correctly. And my drivers that night were all good ones. End of story.

Oh, they're fine. A small blister and a little red mark on the back of my right hand. If I hadn't been so busy threatening the lives of my slaves I could've avoided them both. Ah well, battle scars.

I hear ya. Most of the wound acquired in my life are due to the fact that I apparently never learned how to walk properly. They used to call me "Crash" when I was younger b/c I was either falling or breaking something.

Ouch. So just cause I'm curious how many bones have you broken or pulled.

Amazingly enough I never broke a bone or anything - I just mean dishes, valuables, pottery, etc. I once managed to break an entire, brand new set of glass pots & pans inside of a month. wholly by accident, which is the sad thing. I've got small scars and stuff all over my body, but to date I haven't broken anything.

Thats good. I'm in the same boat. Broken a *hell* of alot of glasses and dishes but never any bones. ::knocks on wood:: But I did manage to pull a bone outta my knee in my Freshmen year of HS. Had to wear a brace for five weeks. But I did get to ride in the elevator and blame my latenesses to class on it. ^^

I like threatening lives. I like taking lives more but they went and made that illegal, the fuckers.
