So due to the fabulous ice storm that hit on Sunday, most of our workers (including the head manager herself) have been unable to make it in. So Sunday I went in a bit early (but we closed early so it worked), Monday I was too sick to work, and today (still sick) I had to pull a ten hour shift. Seven of those hours were spent at landing. I wanted to kill someone.

And someone explain something to me: We haven't been delivering b/c the roads are in bad shape, I think my mother told me there were 700 accident alone in one day in the Triangle area (Raleigh-Durham area). So we don't deliver. People get pissed about this. Why? Because they don't want to endanger their own lives & cars to come pick their damned food up. But they're perfectly content with having some stranger risk his own self to bring their damned food to them. Am I wrong to be annoyed about this???

So that was my wasted day. Those of you that work ten hours regularly I have newfound respect for. I only ever have to deal with it in bad weather, I can't imagine having to do it all the freakin' time. Props to you.

Aces. I expect my payment to be double spaced, font 12, Times New Roman. Don't try and slip any Courier New in there.

You're expensive but well worth the price.

Hot damn (and just read that in your lj). That's quite the toy.

*nods* Forward me the list and I'm on the job. Do you prefer one mass attack or shall I pick them off one by one?

Ahh 'tis 'tis! It plays Mp3 Cds, has a remote and has more buttons and knobs than I know what to do with.

Oh, one by one. It sends the other into a frightened panic. I'll just send you a phonebook, we'll start with A and go to Z.

what the heck does a car stereo need w/a remote???

Affirmative. For a little fun I can pull random pages out now and then.. they won't expect that.

that's what I'd like to know. Unless you were umm "sitting" in the back seat..

But it came with the thing so I said why not.. and it's satalite radio compatible too.. I"m not about to spend $39.99 a month to listen to something I can set for free but it's still cool ;)
