Coworker: (after she finally ends an annoying phone conversation with her daughter - annoying to coworker, not me) If you're even half as intelligent as I think you are, then you'll never have children.

Me: The next time my mom starts fussing about grandchildren, I'm telling her you said that

Coworker: *laughs and begins to walk away. turns back* Where does your mom live?

Me: North Carolina...

Coworker: Oh, okay. YOu can tell her I said that then. So long as she can't shoot me.
