Okay, so I wasn't stuck on landing all night. I did makeline for the first four hours, but right at 4:00, when it starts getting busy I get ordered off that and onto landing. Why? Because no one else in there could hack it.

So for the next two hours I managed all three ovens solo. I had people pop in from time to time but for the most part those ovens were my bitches. The day I'm sent to hell I'm just going to start laughing, b/c I seriously doubt anything is hotter than standing beside those damnable ovens, bending, stretching, etc. to manage god knows how many pizzas. I finally got some help, but around seven they finally let me do something else before I either passed out or bit someone's head off. I think the place was in shambles when I left to go home an hour later (and I'm not bragging - the guy that used to be the Best Ever has turned lazy.)

Then I got stuck on sheet-outs, which is fun except that I'm allergic to the pizza flour. Right now I'm so covered in the stuff I look like a damned ghost. I'm also sneezing and feeling vaguely dizzy so I'm probably going to get a shower in a moment.

Other than that, pretty uneventful. I was tallying my day in my head while I walked home. In three hours I went from ticket # 120 to # 400 (roughly). About two pizzas per tick...I landed about 540 pizzas in three hours. We'll quadruple that at least by closing time, and it's not including what was landed before I took over. The only reason I think of this is because I was watching this dumb Superbowl special on the food channel, and their spot on pizza was at a Domino's. That stupid store bragged about doing 350 pies a night for superbowl. Ahahahahaha.

Okay I'm done now.

It wasn't bad so much as draining. I'm so tired I can't see straight.

That I've just remembered that all I've eaten today is half a small pizza. Hell, that explains everything. Snack time!

You need to stop spoiling me, it only perpetuates the whining I'm already prone to. And I'm not sleeping, I have writing to do!

Speaking of which, I don't see an email titled "Rose" in my inbox.

I almost crashed on the couch, but there are two people I said I'd talk to tonight and one of them would pulverize me if I didn't show. And I really want to write.

Fear? Doubt it, Queen. Hours ago, eh?

I can totally sympathize on the Best Ever falling low.. We have a similar issue at the hospital with one of the Corpsmen.. Unfortunately, the last people to see it are the nurses, whose word carries far more weight than some worthless ass Corpsman, so all we hear is about how great he is still. Grr.

No rest for the wicked, but soon... life should get better.
