It's so much fun, especially when you get distracted.

We've gone from whips to bullwhips specifically then wandered over to cat o'nine tails. Reading on that is rather interesting.

And I've established that Brits were inordinately fond of punishing misbehaving boys by spanking/caning/flogging their underage bottoms.

Take that as you will.

Modern cattle and horse ranchers in the US rarely use a whip (helicopters are more effective)

*cracks up* I hadn't realized the helicopter was an officially cowboy tool.










And no I'm not telling why I'm researching whips. Suffice to say you'd better hope I do all three LG stories for nano, else you won't see why for a loooooooong time.

Mmmmm, whips.... *________________* I have one. Well, what's left of one. 9.9 My daddy was a lion-tamer in a circus before I was born and still had the whip for years until it started to disintigrate. ^^;

You have to move awfully fast to get that sucker to crack, though. I could never do it. :/
