the problem is that it won't open a certain file, but Cookie hooked me up ^_^ And thanks, b/c I don't think I knew that. I only use word to type my stories and the occasional snarky letter to my bitchy credit card people.
Ah. I'm just so used to having the latest Office for like... 15$ because of where I work, because the University pays Microsoft a group license so that each person can use it. I so rarely have compatibility problems anymore... but who know what'll happen with Vista when it comes out, especially if they update Office again.
And I use mine for my stories, for term papers, and eventually, I'll use it for my diss. :) Lots of technical stuff there.
