I'm nearly late to work, but I really really really wanted this up now b/c I'll be too tired later to care.

Chapter six is up at [livejournal.com profile] storytreasure

Ha, ha! I see you're back from your trip (how was it?) so now I can tell you . . . hello.

Greetings. I noticed you hadn't been around for awhile. Europe was fun, but I'm glad I'm American.

My business trip (for 3-4 weeeks) to Wales is perhaps next weekend, the people in Wales won't tell us. It would be nice to know in advance. I'm already glad I'm an American (at least this situation reaffirms this).

I never made it to Wales, you'll have to tell me how it is. I heard a lot of good things about the place, I was disappointed my fundage didn't permit the excursion.

Well I'm supposed to be working 10 hour days and then 4 hours on the other days so hopefully I'll get to see something.
I've always wanted to go to Britian/UK, especially Scotland to see sights, but this doesn't seem like the best chance for that unfortunately. I'll tell you about what I do see.

10 hours? That's an ouch.

Mmmm...Scotland was something else. That place is too gorgeous for words. But don't sleep in the trainstations, that's a whole new level of freezing pain.

Gorgeous? Now I really want to go . . .
And what were you doing sleeping in trainstations?
My coworker did tell me to where 4 layers of clothes when we go.
I was joking with another coworker who has also seen Trainspotting, "Yes, it's my goal to find the worst toilet in Scotland." And we laughed, and then we were disturbed because we remembered that scene.

It's breathtaking. We took a bus tour through the Highlands and I don't think we just gaped in awe the entire time. It's beautiful.

Ha - we were in Edinbugh and didn't realized (stupidly) that it was the place to be for New Year's. So on the 30th we had no where to stay. It was too cold to hold still, so my sister and I literally just walked and walked and walked until morning and the restaurants opened up again.

I never wore less than four layers.

I only vaguely rmeember that movie, I watched it at like three in the morning and keep drifting in and out.

Wow.

And, yeah that's kind of a bad time to watch a movie.
I rented it because said coworker was always talking about it. I actually found it pretty amusing. So far I've liked all of that director's movies with Ewan McGregor in them (only ones I've seen).
