I have posted story in forever, have I?

Le sigh.

Hope to have something by this weekend, assuming I can muster the energy to write - and get it right the first time. Lately all I do is make mistakes.

Still, must keep trying. I'm afraid after that and the drabbles, the dearth will continue as I must prepare for nanowrimo. Man, I'm so setting myself up for a world of hurt. If work doesn't let up, I may have to give up my initial plan and just do one story instead of two.

I guess we shall see. Running late, should not be posting, but I wanted to say sorry I've been lacking with stories lately. I hate work and all has gotten to me so much that what I like doing falls to the wayside. Ah, well.

In a world of unending irony, I finally complain to my father about my chest only to wake up today to it feeling better than it has in a long time.

Ack. Must go.

Dude, no one gets anything right on the first try. Honest to god, I wish someone would break my shit down so I could stop finding all those gross errors and issues weeks/months after I've already posted.

I'm just going to stop beta-ing. Obviously I'm making no one happy.

You know, I am so glad you posted commenting about writing, because I wanted to tell you something. I should probably send this in an e-mail, but I've forgotten your address. *sweatdrops*

I was looking over your website over the weekend. And I have to use the plural when I say it took me a couple of days. I have only known you for...what? Three, maybe four years? And in that time, you have written at least two novel-length stories, several fairy tales, numerous drabbles, and many short stories about several couples.

Not only that, each story is new and different. The characters are bright and fresh and alive and real. Every single one of your stories has a tight, working plot that draws the reader in just as much as the characters do, from harems to deep space to angels to knights who become kings with dragons at their sides. Every single one. You are one of the best writers I know, and your writing holds me like few published authors do anymore.

I am amazed that you can write as much as you do and still give us great quality and beautiful worlds. I cheer for the Jewels and El. I get mad at Terrence Lord and his callous treatment of his children. I want to cry with Caesar for losing his sight. Butterfly tattoos make me sad. And heck, if an angel can smoke, then all the more to him!

Don't begrudge yourself some time to rest and gather your stories to yourself. We can wait for you to spin your tales for us.

(Sorry to rant. I will try to be more cohesive some time I'm not on antihistimines)

I remember that on your pre-revamping site you had a lot of Greek gods slash. Do those stories still exist, and if so, where? I'm taking a Classical Mythology course and keep remembering them vaguely in the back of my mind. I'd really like to read them again.

Aha, my awful butcherings of greek mythology. I can probably dust them off and put them back up ^^;;; I'll do it over the weekend ^_^
