I'm worrried about my kitty. I know he'd been throwing up, I hear it when I'm still mostly asleep early early in the morning.

And this morning he didn't move when I put out their treats -- usually he wakes me up to get them. And all morning he hasn't responded a bit to anything. Just sort of lies still in my lap. He did't even freak when I carried him into the kitchen with me to turn off the tea kettle - usually that would cost me several strips of flesh.

I guess we'll see how he does, and if he does't improve, off to the vet

Meewwww, what's wrong with my kitty? He's walking around like an old man and he won't eat anything =_= I know I'm probably worrying for nothing, bu I dont' like seeig Nickel walk around like he's half dead. Please be okay, kitty.

Is he prone to hairballs? My cat gets a little like that every once in a while if she's got a particularly large one to hock up. (She doesn't do it as much anymore as I'm keeping her coat shorter, but still...) They do sell hairball medication over the counter, and sometimes that does the trick.

Does he feel warmer? (Use Kyo as a comparison...) There's no blood in the litter box is there? No blood in his stool or his urine?

*hugs* I hope he gets better soon.

How long has this been going on? When he throws up, is there blood in his vomit?

*worries with you*

I did notice that his coat looked dull when I came home on Monday. He came in and cuddled with me this morning and kinda flopped on my lap and leaned against me like he didn't want to move... I had another cat that had similar symptoms that came on fast so maybe sooner would be better? I know Dr. Chase has extended Thursday hours.

I know he and Kyo both have fleas so there is a very good chance he's just dehydrated/aniemic and Kyo just has more padding. Nutmeg had the same problem a couple of years ago.

Dr. Chase is here:

Let me know if I can help. *hug*

Hi, I'm a long-time lurker. I work at a cat hospital. I don't know what's wrong with your kitty, there are a lot of possibilities, but I would strongly recommend getting him to the vet as soon as possible. I hope he gets better soon!

I'm a long time lurker too. ^^

I'm sorry for your kitty. I can't say what is wrong with your cat but sometimes my two cats are just depressed; they just sleep and hardly eat anything. But I would still recommend the vet.

Poor kitty... :(

Lady, that would mean a lot to me. Between leaving so early and work and all, I wouldn't be able to do it until tomorrow night and i've been a nervous wreck about him all day. I guess I should call and schedule? I've never called a vet in my life.

Good luck. I hope it's nothing serious, or if it is, that the vet can help. The cat of a friend of mine was behaving a bit like that and the vet did not know what was wrong. In the end, they had to put it down last Saturday.

I hate when pets act like this, they're suppose to be healthy always.
I would take the baby to the vet sooner than later. Being male he can have things wrong that one doesn't think about normally. Things easily fixed if caught soon. FUS has symptoms that include inappropriate urinating in places like laundry baskets. There's handy little pills to take care of it that acidifies the urine. Male cats are more prone.

Throwing up=not good. My puppy only does it after she eats something that she's not supposed to.

Hope your kitty gets better!
