I got my Europe pictures back today (yesterday). I really wish I had a scanner but alas I do not yet have that.
Thoroughly disconcerted my parents with a snapshot of part of a painting. Have I mentioned this painting before? It was in this gallery in Versailles Palace (long gallery of war paintings), showing all these soldiers clearly celebrating a victory. Some are wounded and being treated, the general (or whatever) is there, but in the corner is definitely two guys kissing with like three of their friends just looking at them and laughing. My parents didn't like that picture much.
Lots of pictures of Scotland, and about a million or so of Stonehenge (Woodhenge!). I had no idea we'd taken so many of those blasted rocks. I remember we kept making cracks about making a run for it to actually race up and touch them - but only b/c the call home would have been a hundred times funnier (Hey dad, guess where I'm at? No, guess again. Nope. Prison? Funny you should say that...)
And Bath! Ah, I'd almost forgotten how much I loved Bath. When I'm finally rich and famous I think I'm moving there. But only if it's cheaper than my island in the middle of no where, which is entirely debatable. But those pics were fun, especially the ones of the old city gates that are beneath the current city. And of the three of us in front of the actual roman bath! I wanna go back...
