Culebra is actually a lot easier to write than Iah, though he's also angstier. Iah rarely stays down for long, and considering how he turned blind -- well, okay, Culebra still has it worse.

IM'ed tygati last night because I kept forgetting stuff or realizing I didn't know. I think my greeting was something like "fuck, what's is a queen called when she's no longer queen? Like when she retires."

Dowager is the word on which I was blanking.

Then I realized I didn't know what they called the thing coffins are placed upon inside tombs or whatever. Completely random crap like that is going to stalk me through this story.

Ahahahaha.

Also, threw my outline out. The characters are already completely disregarding it. Anyone who says the voices in my head aren't real can bite me. If they weren't real, would I constantly be doing their bididng?

Don't answer that.

So far am keeping to goal, but this is only day two and there are twenty-eight to go. However -- the weekend is nigh and the holidays will give me two more days to devote completely to writing. w00t!

I very badly want a quarter pounder right now. With cheese, yus.

You should IM me :D I knew "Dowager".

And I dunno how you write so much. Your goal is what, 5,000 a day? I did a total of 730 words my first day >.>;;;;;

Sarcophagus. A stone coffin (which is what they use in tombs) is called a sarcophagus.

The only thing I can think the raised platform that holds the sarcophagus is called is a dais (DIE-iss)

So, is a crypt the same thing as a tomb? *curious*

From: [identity profile] mailechan.livejournal.com
From what I understand, not quite. A crypt is the room or rooms where the dead are housed. A tomb is a building or place that holds the dead. So a tomb houses crypts.

That's why it's the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Egyptian crypts inside the pyramids.

XD *snickers* I think you hit twenty five and the words start vanishing from your vocab.

I once stood in front of the dishwasher and told Jason that it was 'you know, that thing, that you wash dishes in so that they get clean again, like the laundry machine, only with dishes'.

And yeah, I echo you on the voices. The voices are real. They talk when they want, how they want and as frequently as they want. And no amount of pushing seems to ever make them go in directions that they don't want to. >_>

Still, your voices are so yummy. *pets them and feeds them carrots* ;3

Ahahahahaha!! In the six months we've been here, Mikey has called the dishwasher and laundry machine by their appropriate names once. ^___________^

*Feeds the voices too, only with chocolate rather than carrots* ;)

We need a computer program where you type in the meaning (sort of) and the possible choices for words are displayed. They invented grammar check, they can do this.

I think that this Friday is the 6th and last episode of Dexter this season. Does this mean I should hold off on sending the video to you til after the writing has become no longer obsessive?
o_O Obsess enough over your writing. You don't need to be distracted. But I reeeeeally have this thing about, once I have a gift, sending it. *clutches hands*

I thought maybe the word you were looking for as a coffin-stand was "bier"... but that's apparently only used to transport the coffin to the grave. Dang.

I have proof!! And my friends keep telling me the voices aren't real. Hah! What do they know? They obviously haven't spent any time with characters that just take over your mind and call you all sorts of names when you do something to them.

Um. The word could be altar?
