Went to walmart to pick up some things for my mom, got the March shounen jump as well. New favorite quote comes from Shaman King:

"Clearly 600 years ago men were as stupid as they are today. The same homophobic rituals to obscure the fact that they have feelings."

Was supposed to have the day off, but the HM is sick so I'm going in from 3-7 (which isn't bad, but they'd better let me off at seven).

Mergh. How does one write when every five minutes your mind switches stories? I've got so many things spinning around in my head right now it's giving me a headache.

oh jesus... the last time I tried to do that when we were moving I went nuts and left most of them at the old house. That's one of the reaasons I've been avoiding cleaning up and bringing the bookshelves over from the old house.. I've got 10 fucking boxes in out current house and probably another 10-15 in the old house to go through and figure out what to do with...

Best of luck with the sorting...

Lord, I dont have that many. At least not in my closet sized room. I only room for two small bookcases, one of which is all manga and the other all prose. Takes forever b/c I have to stop and read all of them.

Yeah my collecting is more of a sickness really ;)

I've got a full set of every novel Agatha Christie ever wrote, two full shelves of cat books, a set of the classics in brown leather, a shelf of some really old books like The Song of Hiwatha from 1927 (Written by my sixth cousin) and the rest of the shelves in the three bookcases are triple stacked with romance, mystery, and other paperbacks. and the 10 boxes in my back room are all paperbacks too >_< all of my manga is out on the shelves that are up now.. But I need to get a hammer and pull one section of them down. They are too big for me to really keep anything on but I can use that space.. Maybe this weekend.. I dunno...

Yeah, that's a disease.

Then again with romances, mysteris, my books, my sisters, my mothers, etc etc. we could easily fill the damned house and then some. It's no wonder we get along - we're both addicts of all the same things. Never was into Agatha Christie, more of a Rex Stout fan.

I ened up paying them to work at walden's for three years...

The christies were a gift from a woman at the shelter I worked at. I've read about half of them. I did really like 10 little Indians though. I don' tthink I've ever read any Rex Stout..

Yeah, Me + Bookstore job = No Money. Why I never tried too hard to get a job in one. But man would that be nice....

I had a friend that worshipped Agatha books, but I seldom get into mysteries. Ever heard of Nero Wolfe? Those are the books Stout writes, they made them into an awesome TV series on A&E for a while.
