Some of us have the day off today. 'Course, some of us didn't get Thursday or Friday or the weekend off, either, and are therefore praying certain others of us won't hold our being off today against us.
You make me think of that part in Emperor's Groove where the soldiers get turned into animals and the one asks if he could be excused b/c he got turned into a bull (or something) and the evil! chick is like "of course. you may leave." ever so politely.
Amusingly enough... I didn't have to. Got a call Sunday evening from work that said, um.. hey... we're just going to have a snow day tomorrow cuz of all the snow on the roads... How much snow you ask? Lessee... at the most, it was 6 inches in places.Most places were less....
