Dear METRO,

Please make the scary people leave me the fuck alone. I'm tired of stalkers, I'm tired of busdrivers. Just fucking stop. I put my headphones on and ignore the world for very good reason.

Tired of being hit on by men old enough to be my father,
~the rider who is about to go apeshit on your asses

Dear World,

Please to be stopping for a day or two. Would like time to catch up and relax and have fun.

Had enough,
~Me

Dear September,

Hurry the fuck up and get here. Want to be in Hawaii already.

~Meg

P.S. Please have the cabana boy waiting at the airport. I would like a margarita.

Dear Grocery Store,

Please deliver. Please. Too fasking tired.

Dedz0r,
~M.Derr

Dear Slashdom,

~Amaretto

*hugs* I think you should write a vampire story where the vampires eat the nasty old men who hit on you on the bus. *nods*

*huggles* I hope it gets better.

Aha, I'll live ^___^

It will. I'm just impatient ^^;;

Man, you peeps need to finish Turn of the Screw so I have people to rant with. I'm positively twitchy. That'll teach me to read ahead.

I haven't been hauling Turn of the Screw at school in some desperate hope I'll finish it early. *whistles*

Deadlines inspire my inner procrastinator.

You are that talented. ^_^ But I won't beg for vamp stories-- well, other than those you've already begun. I don't even bother reading many vamp slash stories, and I actually like vampires.

I hope your evening is looking up!

You need some cheering up.

*lets pretend I wrote a really amusing story about a nerdy, buck-toothed vampire named Gus who managed to overcome his phobia for anything colored red via az wonderful adventure continaing hot UST with a cabana boy, just to cheer you up*

Have you heard of "Partnership in Blood" by [livejournal.com profile] ariels_fics? I can't guarantee it's different, because it's the only vampire story I've ever read, but I love it.

Beware though - it's rps, and if you don't read that you won't like it.

If you'd rather wait a few months for it, I'll link you to the rewrite

perhaps this will make you smile a bit! I read at one time that you like the show prison break. They filmed parts of the last few episodes at my work and I had to babysit the cast and crew.

One really good shot of the lead actors for eyecandy cheering up!
I hope your week gets better!!

Wow, pretty beach.

What a freakin' pity the actors were all assholes, minus the one.

But thankee ^_____^ Man, I want that beach. I wouldn't pick the sea oats, I promise.

yeah, it was a real shame. I was looking forward to meeting the one guy because I used to watch John Doe but no luck. We do have great beaches! even with the frequent hurricanes!

I don't care what you say, I'm going to continue writing about Gregori Nicolaie Wilbur the vampire-who-drinks-only-from-vegans-and-faints-at-the-sight-of-blood!

I would never presume to tell a goblin what to do. Except Thorley, who will suffer as he is bid.

What do you dislike about average slash vampire stories?

What would you like to see?

That will take more space than a comment can handle ^^;;; I will try to elaborate in full, and soon. It's been aggravating me more and more of late anyway.

I would like NOT to see vampires sulking and dying slowly of Angsty Loneliness in clubs only to fall in love with the Human They Shouldn't Want/Can't Have or a Werewolf Mortal Enemy.

I would like to see vampires portrayed as what they are -- fucking predators who feed on humans. I'm tired of vampires being pretty boys (or girls, my annoyance really isn't limited to slash, it's just what I happen to see the most) who bemoan their fate while fucking their food for a bajillion repetitive pages.

Argh, who knows. There might be good stuff out there. But I've read more than I can count or remember and they all read the same. I just want to seee vamps as vamps, not pretty boys who happen to suck blood because that's zomg so hot!

Really it's to the point of blind hatred these days. *sigh*

I think we all agree to partly blame the sulky, whiny vampires on Anne Rice. My short dip in the fandom taught me that Luis was a favourite, and after everything more-or-less came apart with Rice's "I Hate Fanfic" campaign thingie, I believe most of the writers started writing originals, but kept the "oh woe, I need redeeming" part. That evolved over the years, and now more than half of the bloody fandom does that kind of stories.

I like vampire fics to be vampire fics. As in, blood and violence and vampires who are happy with who and what they are and do not regret living forever.

/end rant

That being said, I'd love to read any vampire fic you may come up with.

My dear, I am a beeg vampire fan, but even I must protest when I read all the amazingly bad vamp fics out there. So far the only stories were reading are Embrace and Anita Blake.
