Busy, busy
Feb. 28th, 2004 01:05 pmI got a tip!! At work last night, it was awesome. These guys came in desperate for food and took a couple of pizzas and some bread. They were so happy they told me "keep the change," which was like four dollars. Never gotten a tip like that before. Makes me happy.
Pimping time!
starparty and I created a new community to cater to yet another of our obsessions:
greekgodslash. Not much up yet, but if you're interested in the slashiness of Mt. Olympus, come join the fun.
Nearly done with two more chapters of Rainbow, as well as other stuff. I feel bad for neglecting my website of late, so I'm trying to gather a large chunk of stuff with which to update. Speaking of websites, I finally bought a domain name, now I just need to figure out wtf I'm doing. Me & website stuff don't get along. Minor detail.
Blargh, work in...2 1/2 hours. Food might be a good idea.
Oh yeah - joined
annowrimo a while back, then forgot the comm decided to do the whole thing in March. So I've got three stories I could work on (I'd originally though two, but it just occured to me I have another). So, which one should I work on?
Treasure
This one I think everyone is familiar with. If not, try

Embrace
This is my attempt at a vampire story, which several know to be my second least favorite...genre? of fantasy. So I'm trying to write a blood-sucker story I like. In this world, vampires are Pets kept by nobles and other members of the upperclass as signs of their affluency.
Grave
Genody Grave appears home two years after the death of his best friend and lover Yuri, and the families demand to know where the hell he's been. He refuses to explain, nor will he tell them how Yuri died. All the family knows is in the later from the King, thanking Yuri and his family for the man's noble sacrifice. Akaterina, Yuri's sister, won't take no for an answer. She demands that Genody take her to the King, under the dictates of an ancient law that says any grievance against the King may be put to him - and Genody as a Royal Soldier must escort her until the Grievance is stated. Reluctantly he agrees to take her, and so unfolds the story.

Date: 2004-02-28 11:01 am (UTC)I don't think so. Of all the theories I read writing a paper on the subject, that one never came up at all. Especially when you consider Yuri and femslash, the theory makes no sense.

Date: 2004-02-28 07:05 pm (UTC)Slash based on Greek mythology? Considering how screwed up those gods were, it sounds interesting.^_^

Date: 2004-02-28 07:51 pm (UTC)oh yeah? interesting. It's honestly not something I've heard, except from people who thoroughly dislike yaoi/yuri/etc. perhaps I stand corrected.
come join! unless it keeps you from writing about Yuber, which I won't tolerate.
