I often bitch about the bus and my fellow passengers

So fair is fair - a nod to all the cool people.

To the three that are the favorite topic of Bus Gossip, we hope things settle pleasingly for all parties and thank you for being so indulgent of the general nosiness.

To the old lady who chats with me after work from time to time (and related in great detail the aforemetioned gossip), I love your necklace and you're pretty damn cool. I hope I am too at your age.

To the woman who once helped me find a seat in a crowded mess, for no reason other than that she felt like helping me of the dozen of people standing -- and who remembered me, and made a comment about there being plenty of seats available today ^__^

To the woman who said I was nice, all becasue I chatted for two minutes and rang the bell for her -- and who also said I had a pretty smile, which isn't true but after a miserable day made everything better.

And to all the busdrivers, because you peeps put up with a lot of shit. I would be in prison, were I in your shoes.

I grew up on a first name basis with all of my bus drivers...I always lived the farthest out of anyone, so we'd talk to eachother to pass the time. And YES, busdrivers put up with everything, especially elementary school drivers. I remember a kid in my 6th grade class throwing yogurt out the window of the bus...it hit the windshield of the cop behind them. o_O

I AM an elementary school bus driver. We pressed charges on the kid with the orange..but I didn't understand the girl that beat up her brother with a shoe,..or why I found a mini-skirt and a waffle in the backseat of the bus. I try to make it a game and guess what I'll see next and I eavesdrop on the gossip.

You're a brave, brave soul. I remember the chaos on my elementary buses. I marvel the driver didn't kill us all.

No..I'm someone with a useless degree who needed a part time job that pays well...and it pays almost twice as much as fast food. I write stories in a notebook on breaks.

I have nothing but admiration for you. I don't think I could survive it. When I think of all the crap we got away with on the bus when I was a little kid, I cringe. Actually, when I think of what we get away with on the bus NOW, I cringe. Oi.

I think the most amusing memory, though, is when this kid Patrick curled up on his seat to take a nap (violating bus safety rule #5)...and we stopped at a red light, and he rolled forward and got STUCK between his seat and the one in front of him. We got to his stop and I tried to explain where he was and why he wasn't getting off, but it was kinda hard as I was laughing so hard I thought I was going to pee myself. >_>

Dude, our bus-driver has to be a friggen' saint. I mean, if you thought kids were bad when you were going to school....I think their mothers would slap them within an inch of their lives if they ever saw their children behaving the way they do.

I'm afraid I'm not really sure whether to tell this to you or Tygati, but I found three broken links on your site between the chapters of Burning Bright.

The prologue (bb00) goes to (treasure01) instead of (bb01)

The second chapter (bb02) links to (bb01) instead of (bb03)

And chapter 10 (bb10) simply doesn't have a link to (bb11) at all

The right chapters are up and work fine, only the links to them within the story are broken, which means you have to manually type in the right address when reading through it.

This has no relation to the above post, but I figured I'd put it on your most recent. I just discovered a fic parodying the various vampire and other supernatural yaoi slash cliches, it reminded me of your vampire rant earlier so I thought it might amuse you. It's a GW fanfic, but is AU and doesn't really require you to know anything about the series.

Essentially, Duo's kidnapped to be the mate of Heero a vampire prince with a tragic past, and because this is Duo, he's internally tearing apart all the cliche stuff. It's really funny.
