I always feel really ambivalent about that thing. On the one hand, Russian book/movie in America - T3h Awesome...on the other, I know there are *so many* nuances and little things and whatever *in* the book that just DO NOT TRANSLATE, that it's really a pity that y'all , uh, *do not generally read Russian*, and thus can't really experience the Full Awesome...

I'm still learning... I'm only 2nd year... (sob) Albeit, I understand a lot, cause my Russian class is so small my teacher - who is awesome and crazy - teaches all the levels at once, so lessons bled over...

And no, I don't think I could ever go abroad. I don't like to talk. Even in English, or Spanish. I don't think I could do Russian, at least not for a while. My shyness prevents me, as does money. I am poor little person.

Unless I got some kind of scholarship, which I always do, but still... That's so cool!

Coolness! I know my crazy-ass teacher would stalk me until I did. (No, really, she would)

She tried to make me enter two contests last year, even though I was only level one.

... Hmm... that go for high schoolers too? One of the juniors in my class got to go to one similar...
