I must be more depressed/bored than I thought, to update my journal this often. But I've gotten these two chapters to the point that they're good enough for others to rip apart (does that make sense???)

Squee!! Chapter two of "Rainbow"!! *bounces* I'm really falling in love with the characters of that story. 'Bastion is loveably grumbly with a nice bitter aftertaste. I liked the glimpse you gave of him pre-Klause. And I do wonder how his friendship with Regan is going to influence/affect the way he gets along with Klause.

Klause I love because you can tell that he knows that there are all these undercurrents to what's happening, but he also seems so helpless sometimes to actually dealing with what he knows so he just lets it slide off his back or pretends that the subtext doesn't exist when he doesn't know how to handle it.

The way 'Bastion cools off to glacier temps when Klause is around or mentioned is really interesting too. I'd love to know more about the whys and the how-that-came-to-bes.
