For some reason, I'm not getting better. I'm used to hangovers, I know how to get through them.

But this one won't let go. I keep puking, nothing stays down. At this point I'm only heaving up my stomach and it hurts.

Just want the pain to stop, but it won't because five minutes after swallowing even a sip of water - it comes right back up.

I dont' know what's wrong, I've drunk harder than this before and have been fine by the afternoon.

I imagine being dehydrated isn't helping make the hang over go away. Have you tried ginger ale? Sometimes I can keep that down even when I puke everything else up.

I blame myself for encouraging you. :(

Well, my Irish friends always told me the best remedy for a hangover was to drink more, but privately I think that's only true for Irish people because they get sick when there is too much blood in their alcohol system.

Soda, toasted bread, crackers, lying on side or stomach - those are all the remedies I use. But what's happening to you happened to my sister, and she eventually had to go to the hospital. She became too dehydrated. Be careful.

Hope you feel better!

Sleep it off? *hugs* I wish you felt better. (Wish I had better advice too...)

Take vitamin B, or a multivitamin, if you can get it to stay down long enough. My father assures me that this works, and he would definately know. Something about how the alcohol interacts with your body leaves you deficient in it, and if your diet has been unbalenced recently, that could make it worse.

Sounds like you are seriously dehydrated and that is only going to make things worse. You really might need to go to a hospital. Since you can't keep anything down, see if you can get someone to go to a pharmacy and get some anti-nausea suppositories. When my son was ill with scarlet fever he couldn't keep even a sip down either and his veins were so brittle from the dehydration he couldn't take an IV, so they finally gave him a suppository and that helped him keep liquids down. This might help you?
Sure hope you feel better soon.

Hope you are felling better by now! Flat (ex-fizzy) clear lemonade is supposed to be good too - there's never been any around when I've needed it. Or a pint of water before you go to bed, while you are still drunk but not throwing up yet. Martini is no longer the second favourite drink then?

Are you feeling any better yet? I hope so, at any rate.
I'd give advice but I don't know any...

I'm assuming that you're feeling better since this entry is a couple of days old. However, I didn't want to post this link to this crazy/cute story of Sam/Bumblebee in any of your recent entries since they're.. well... stories. XD

I had this strangely compelling urge to share it with you.
