It's really frustrating and depressing that still people are getting banned from LJ - and that LJ does not give them a chance to appeal, or anything. More and more people are leaving and it saddens me. I do no want to leave here, this is where all my friends and a majority of my readers hang. But sheesh.

And I suddenly remember something, and it occurs to me I probably can't post it anymore.

One of the Blades, yet to make an appearance, is about 14/15 physically. He's actually older than that, but for various and sundry reasons will never age physically. This doesn't prevent his getting smexed up. I wonder now, though, if I can even post it once I reach that point. How depressing. I always felt comfortable playing here, and now I'm not certain I can. I mean LJ says they only address the problem when it's reported to them, but I've incurred the wrath of enough assholes...

How depressing and frustrating.

Oh, well. I have other stories. I guess tbatb can go direct to lulu whenever I get a chance to work on it.

Hello, I'm a frequent reader of your work. I read about the Livejournal Frenzy a few months back. Are they still banning people? I thought they stopped after heavy protest. And yes, I would feel rather disappointed if you discontinued using Livejournal.

Someone reported a picture of hers on the pornish_pixies comm. I think it was an overreaction, but I guess what we think doesn't really matter.

I'm not likely to leave until I am banned in my turn, which shouldn't happen unless they start coming down hard on incest or go stupidly on a slash headhunt.

I know. It's incredibly frustrating for me too. It's the main reason I got Livejournal; so I can friend the authors in order to regain access to their work.
The main culprit is WFI- Warriors For Innocence (I think)

I know how you feel..alot. Fanfiction went thru this and I just stopped reading there after a while. People are just going to have to lock down their stuff to Friends Only or post elsewhere because unless someone reports abuse (which I personally don't believe in reporting) they (the Lj-censors) don't act. I don't like what's happening here. I believe in the 1st Amendment strongly. If people don't like something then they can just not read, that's why there are warnings options in my opinion. Guess this is a civics lesson. *sigh* ~strongly sarcastic~ I just love our moral majority who interfer in our lives according to their set of standards.

If you do go elsewhere please leave a trail of breadcrumbs! I am not sure there is anywhere else to go though. GJ is so very much like LJ that it is an easy transition but it has the same constraints. If someone complains...

Be careful with Lulu - there is a 'no underage sex' rule there too! I think the wording is slightly fluffier but I translated it as no underage. Which is why I am trying to remove all specific age references from the novel I want to put on Lulu. One of my characters has sex at 15 (age of consent in the UK is 16) because she wants to. I didn't see it as a problem when I wrote it...

I know you aren't keen on fanfic but the Gundam Wing boys are 15 during the main series and there are an awful lot of wonderful smutty fanfics about them that LJ could get sniffy about (for example).

It is really irritating having some idiotic do-gooder interfering!

But the idea of just using LJ to announce updates on your webpage - that could work, and nobody would mind clicking an extra link or two to get to the stories.
Don't get downhearted - if it happens it happens, and your loyal fanbase will come trailing after you like ducklings. ;D
