Brings back all this stuff from her Faire's and wonders why I give her 'you need to find a better dealer' looks.

First it was the tail. Cause apparently people in ye olden tymes had tails. I was typing one day and she interupts to go "Would you stroke my tail?"

M: ................................

It just devolved from there.

Now she's brought back this creepy ass eye thing she keeps calling cute and it's going to come to life and eat us while we sleep.

So, you know, if we're not around tomorrow - burn the creepy eyes thing!!!

XD My sibling went to Bristol Renn Faire yesterday, dropped off the dog and didn't ask. But yeah, there's always something new and or creepy to pick up. Last year, while the theme was pirates, my friend bought devil horns. Two years ago it was puppets that you put on your shoulder and direct with little movements. They talk. I don't know what the eye things are, as I haven't been this year, but I feel for you. Best I can say is if she goes again, tell her to try to resist; most of the buys are advertised out in the open with people who know exactly how to look at you with puppy eyes, or say the right words of how it'll fit with the outfit perfectly. -_- I love the faire, but buying those things? I draw my line at costume apparel, insturments, and the like. Just try not to cringe when asking how much she spent on that, on food, and on trinkets.

Faires are fun but I always feel like I should have taken out a second mortgage on the house before going to have enough money. I spend too much and in Texas, as it's the summer, it's just too hot. Love the atmosphere but not enough to sell one of the children or a kidney, but still there are such wonderous things for sale there. Example: one mug with squashed fairy on bottom.

I see no cute in that picture. Hell, if you hadn't mentioned the smirk, I wouldn't have even seen that.

Of course, after looking at it a while, I'm wondering what it would take to drill holes thru it's eyes & put red led lights there, so it can have red glowing eyes.

DOOD! ...I want the cloak with all the eyes. TT_TT But it'd probably cost the same as the Imperial Crown of India or something. I can't wait until the weather's cooled enough to go to renfest!!

**stares in horror**

Maybe in another lifetime I might have agreed with your cute verdict but I once had a nightmare centered entirely around something similar to that.

I can see the faces and they all have such personality but they make me a little paranoid with all the eyes....Reminds me of a friend I had who thought all the posters in her room could read her thoughts. I think these things really can!

Renn Faire is awesome! The fairy dudes with the acorns dancing and the Shakespeare plays... I went to the Celtic themed one and got a jingle sash from the Jingle Wench. It's huge and it jingles so nicely! I clink everywhere I go when I walk in that. And my friend bought elf ears, devil horns, throw knives, a Celtic belt, and dressed as a tavern wench.

The jousting was just... wow. Everyone screamed Huzzah! And King Henry VIII was there, I think. Everything is on a stick - that was a motto. I even saw cheesecake on a stick. And then my friend stalked a boy wearing cat ears... He was standing in the shop with tails, which I unfortunately could not purchase. I shall have one this year, however!

And the fiddlers! They played some seriously good music. Not to mention that guy who played a mean flute. I love going to Renn Faires... Everyone drinks out of tankards. I'm getting one this year.

And a tail. A black or white one.
