How is this for whack?

Called my dad, got some random dude

Called my parents' house, got some random chick

Called my sister, got the first random dude again.


All this because my cellphone is basically a piece of junk now, and instead of getting groceries tomorrow I'll likely be spending the money on a new fucking phone -__-

Now, I'm going to go fix some tea and try to write. I really wish an SMP idea would come to me. Thoughts? I want to write a halloween-ish story, but nothing grabs me. Familiar is out, not doing ghosts because Daniel pwns all, and I can think of nothing good for Jack O'Lantern. Nor anything else. My muses, they are failing me.

Mmm, the current (not cooperating) draft I have right now, Red is taking his sister home and the wolf is a man cursed to be a wolf in the daylight and a man by night. Somewhere in there is the witch of the Gingerbread House, I think she takes the sister?

Um...I don't really know any other stories....
There is an old myth in my Cherokee tribe through, about a man who's entire village hated him, so He ends up leaving his village and lives in no-mans land in the forest. Instead of dieing, He makes friends with some animals: A Bear, a Wolf, and two Songbirds. The each help him in their own ways, and when the man almost dies for them, they reveal they were really spirits in disguise. They save him, and live with him for a long time.

...That was actually my favorite bed-time story when I was smaller. <3
......But not really horror...Uh, spirits? You could prolly make it into something creepier too, I bet. Or at least more holloweeny.

For Halloween, I recommend going back to the older myths, the ones about blood and fear of the dark, the ones from before the lily-white Victorians took all the soul from the old myths.

I have appointments to see 4 apartments tomorrow @.@ I'm worried I'm going to love the first or second one I see and then wait till I see the third and fourth and then not be able to get my favorite because it will be gone by the time I can get back to it... and all manner of silly things like that XD Gods, I hope this works out. But it's looking good :) I hope being back isn't too terrible (I know it probably can't compare to tropical vacation XD)

Like I told someone over on SMP, basically what I've done is butcher the ghost story that's always creeped me out the most. So maybe take a pre-existing creepy story (The Tell-Tale Heart jumps to mind for some reason) and rewrite it to fit your needs?

Oh god, I've got to get a new cell phone soon too. My battery barely holds a charge for two days, and I don't think they sell the battery for this phone anymore (it's over 5 years old).

In regards to your phone. Who is your service provider? I know everytime I go out of town my phone goes whacky. There is something you can do to get it back in line with your location but sadly it escapes me at the moment. Call your provider and see what they can do.

Boo, phone. :( If you can, try testing the phone with someone else's sim card and see if that works? If it works then, then it's the sim card, in which you should try backing up your numbers and stuff, because replacing that will wipe your card memory completely. If it's the phone, then you'll have to back up whatever you have stored in the phone memory before you change phones. ^^;; *loves you*
