Tried to leave to go to the bus stop. Was putting my netflix in the mail and this massive van drives by really slow. Weird, a little sketch, but not totally unheard of. It was fucking cold so I stopped to put my sweater on and everything, started walking -- about a third of the way down the street I see the van coming again. Freaked out, ran back to my house.

Maybe I should just lay off the Stephen King, but that didn't seem fly to me at all. I really wish the time change would hurry up, cause then I wouldn't be walking around in pitch black =_=

Now I've gotta take the 7:15 bus, which means I'm probably going to be late.

Hey, better to be safe than sorry. Your gut tells you these things for a reason. *snugs* Hopefully, your boss will understand (if not, really, remind them that you did get mugged there a while back. You have every reason to be cautious.).

ehhhh

Don't feel too bad, I do that all the time even without a good reason. Maybe I'm just easy to scare... -_-'

I hope you made it on time, but you definitely made the right decision. Sky is right, we have to listen to our instincts.

*hugs*

Better safe than sorry. Listen to your gut.

Yeah I agree with all of the above...

big van, driving back and forth by you... I think it was a good idea to turn on your heels and go back home, especially after last year's incident (was it last year?) when you got mauled on the way to work.

Of course, if they had done anything the Queen would've had to come to Ohio and remove their balls with a sledge hammer, so I mean, it works out for both you and the shade patrol.

*hugs*

Ack! Creepy! I would have done the same thing. I have to walk from a dark parking lot surrounded by woods to get into my office and let me tell you, my heart races every time I have to make that walk in the dark of early morning. Especially on the weekends when I'm the only one working.

I would have done the same thing. Especially if it's dark in the morning where you are :/

IMO making daylight savings longer was a stupid idea and I wish it would go back the way it was. In October/November you would rather have it be light in the mornings, right?

It's okay to be careful, humans aren't known as the nicest specie... and the saying is truthful _"better safe than sorry" as remind Unusualmusic.

If I were you, I would've been too curious and gone and checked it out...

Thank God you're not me and I'm not you. My curiosity is going to be the death of me one day. Really.

But I'm glad you're safe.

If I were you, I would've told my boss I was attacked by ninjas...

Er...

Ditto the above saying.

wow perceptive, if it were me i wounldnt notice anything until i was in trouble. I guess i should be more careful and im glad ur safe. yea and 'better safe than sorry' as a third reminder.

ps: i never had that effect after reading Stephen King, i normally get hyper alert after horror movies.....
