So I'm reading over the list of books put out by the same press which published Seacliff.

One of them is written by a Rob N. Hood.

Pardon me a moment while I go retrieve my eyes from where they have rolled out of my head and onto the floor.

Either someone has an unfortunate choice of names (No seriously, that's my name! My mom named me after 40 hours of labor and she was a little high...) or someone spent a little too long in the dult movie business before choosing their pen name.

I once came upon a student with a name of Christopher Robin Hood. Parents can be very cruel sometimes.

I got that one beat. There's another grad student who has always been called "Ford." Officially, he's listed as "O.T. Ford." Only recently did I find out his name is actually "Of the." Yes, someone named their child "Of the Ford."

The worst names for children that i have heard are from a co-worker who used to work welfare cases. Syphilis and Gonorrhea. The women had twins and saw the 'names' on a chart in her dr. office, and didn't realize what they were. Names later were legally changed to Philis and Rhea.

Another bad one I've seen recently Clementine Olive, and they call her Clem...
