So I was slakz0r and went out and about today ^____^

Went to Newport on the Levee to hit up the movie theater. Saw Sweeney Todd at 10:45 (meh), then chilled at the bookstore -- got 2 medieval type books! -- and then saw The Orphanage at 2:40 (*____*).

Then took the long way back to downtown (I took the shuttle there, then took the pedestrian bridge back, and remind me later I have a funny story about me and that shuttle).

Loved loved loved The Orphanage. Sammie wouldn't like it, I don't think, Beej would, mom, dad, and bro likely not. I am so becoming a Guillermo del Toro fangirl *.*

Also while in bookstore, wrote a bit of Dukes story ^_^ So, now to get foods and booze and transcribe what I've got.

Well, it was directed by a friend of Del Toro, but he did vouch for it :)

I want to go see it even more myself now ^_^ Thanks for the review :)

xD Sounds awesome. I have no idea what The Orphanage is about though, maybe I should google it or something.
Should I watch? o.o
Anyway, great that you're happy :D

Is The Orphange in Spanish? (Please say yes?)

Yeah, it is. I couldn't have endured an english dubbing. Shit, even the subtitling could have used some work. I think I was ready to strangle whoever thought "Cops? The cops is cool." was a good translation.

I understand Spanish, which means the subtitles will doubly tick me off.

Sometimes I just was to kick translators in the ass. It makes you wonder why they're hired in the first place?

I was a bit disappointed in Sweeney Todd too, but some of those songs snuck their way into my brain and won't get out. Especially the ones by the little boy. He was awesome.
