Jim Henson's The Storyteller

I was hardcore fond of it as a kid. I mean it had to have been one of the first things I truly fangirled, and it was in fact the first time I recall hearing the fairytale of 1000 Furs (here it's called Sapsorrow).

Anyway, I've waited forever to actuall own it, and now I finally do. I've got the entire collection -- fairytales and greek myths ^__^

*gasp* I've always wanted it! I can't believe there are others who've seen it. Everyone I talk to have no idea what I'm talking about.

Heh. Own it on DVD. *beams happily* The episode that I'd always remembered for years and years was Hans My Hedgehog. The image of the silhouetted hedge hog rising up in front of a fire and shedding his quills for the human skin of a man is the image from it that stuck with me from when I saw an episode when I was a kid.

You're missing a fairytale on your website. I could have sworn it had been there before.

It was the Snow White one, Who's the Fairest? I remember reading that... You're going to include that in the next Fairytale book or no?

I was itching to read that too.

I hate that fairytale. So far as I'm concerned, never again will it see the light of day.

I'll conduct a funeral for it.

It's not even going to be reincarnated?

And Beauty is not there either.

I have a better memory than I thought.

Eh, the writer's opinion is far from the best, but if I had my way there's plenty that would come down from my site. I am, however, most often ignored. I won on the fairytales however. Those two really did suck.

No. One day I'll think of a way to redo Snow White that's actually good.

You know, I remember that being on, but never watched it. I wonder if it was on cable? We didn't have cable. :(

But, yay! Have fun watching.^_^
