Jan. 17th, 2008 06:14 pmSo it's yet again a good thing I didn't call in >_< Boss late cause of meeting, coworker late cause of appointment...and because of the meeting the boss left early.
Tomorrow looks to be no better.
Bought ointment for my eye, but it's making the itching worse. *headdesk*
I'm going to go figure out dinner, then muster the energy to write.
On a brighter note, lulu paid me today. Um, it's rather humbling that people really do want to pay for my stuff, especially since I fucked up those three books despite my best efforts. So, thanks guys.

Date: 2008-01-18 12:07 am (UTC)I know I'm just a lurker and I generally suck at writing comments, be it the wording or that I just don't quite have the confidence to bother other people with my rambling (which is bad, but I always end up doing it regardless =.=").
Anyway. I got "Fairytales" and "Magic & Mischief" last Saturday, and you wouldn't believe the way my mother looked at me for my imitation of a rubber ball on hallucinogenic drugs. A multitude of hallucinogenic drugs. Personally, I'm rather proud of the likeness I displayed (complete with the manic laughter - did I do that out loud?! Whoops.). ;P
Er... yes. What I actually wanted to say (focus's the key) is that I love to have at least part of your stories on paper, to be properly appreciated at last. I foresee a "Megan Derr"-Section on my bookshelf in the future. *grins*
Yes, I'm one of the people who want to pay for your "stuff". I'd have paid more to finally have something decent to read on my way to University (or, to my shame, in lectures that bore the little sense I've left out of me).
So, thank YOU.
Unfortunately, I can't do anything about the other things you've mentioned; but I want you to feel better anyway.
(And I'll try to comment on your stories, as soon as I have a little room to breathe. Promise.)

Oh, speaking of which, I haven't properly squeed over Spellbound and Main Guache, yet! Squeee!!!! I absolutely adore the re-write of MG. I love the story of the sword, and the fact that... *considers how to word without giving stuff away* Um, well, I love everything!!! ^_^ And Hex's story is such love! *happy sigh* Wonderful, as all your stuff is.
*glomps* And yay for a paycheck for writing! You go, girl!
The exploding happy!!
