I'm going to play hermit and the world can fuck off and die for all I care. I'm going to lay here with a hot cloth over my eyes and write.

Dear Eddie Izzard,

Thanks for making me laugh, probably saved a few lives.

Does anyone know Eddie Izzard? I only know two routines of his, both dated by now I guess, but they're still funny as fuck. Um. This is from the older of the two, it will never be unfunny:

And this is from Dressed to Kill, the routine I practically have memorized ^^;; um, dont know how funny French speakers would find it, but it slays me.

Have you ever seen All the Queen's Men? I liked it so much I bought it. It isn't precisely a comedy, but Izzard is good and funny in it.^_^

Also, *pets*

Haha, Eddie Izzard is amazing! I think I have all the DVDs of his shows.

Also, we played that clip in my French class. It was for "learning."

Oh man, I totally need to get those on DVD. Those two are undoubtedly his best ones.

Tea and cake or death! Tea and cake or death!

Um... anything I can do for you?

My friend has recommended him to me and has gone over some of his routines as well.

He's quite amusing.

Have a nice hermit rest!
For the vids, I didn't know him but it was funny, both of them,I found another vid of the second one when he went in France, it was a bit different and longer... sure I can't tell for all French speakers, but just for me : I like him! Got a good laugh! Thank you for that!
Hope you'll have a good we.

Eddie Izzard is in Mystery Men, a rather good and amusing film. ^^ If you like his stuff then Bill Bailey and Dara O'Brian might be interesting for you as well.
One of his great jokes is "Moths", but I cannot find a video... T_T

Instead, here's one of my favourite acts from the Secret Policeman's Ball.

As someone who was forced to learn French, that second clip made me die laughing.

On a completely different note, if I ever manage to finish the picture, how do you want it? Just a link to it on something like deviantart?

I adore Eddie Izzard =) And as yet another person who took French for most of her schooling life, I love his routines on French. He has at least one other one that's really funny.

This French-speaker finds it hillarious. His French is actually very good and the dialog is absolutely side-splitting, since it's normal, then it's... not.

Sauve-toi, petit singe!

I have to speak French at work, and I think I'll share this second one with my coworkers! Sympathy for the poor monkey...and hotel concierge. lol.
