Mmm, lasagna

I love lasagna. None beats my dad's for sheer tasty, but I do luffs it. Even vegetarian lasagna, for which I should find a recipe. My college made that stuff in true tasty style.

Dude, I so wish I could get home this early every day. Work was killer, but a good kind of killer in the end, and after the huddle the boss said we could go, so I went. Was home by three thirty ^_^

Now to finish my leftover lasagna, then to Trevor.

I like to put long thin slices of zucchini as one of the layers in lasagna. I don't know about other veggies. Lots of people put spinach (which I'm allergic to) or mushrooms (which are just gross, imo).

I'd rather just have a nice thick eggplant parm, though, so my opinion prolly means little. ^_^

I think I've only had eggplant parm once, cause my parents loath and detest eggplant and don't permit it on the premises ^^ And elsewhere, I seldom run into it. I recall it was tasty, though, and I once had pizza with eggplant for a topping.

Vegetable lasagna is the shit. I love that stuff, though I never make it. But I don't make anything that takes more than one pan or three minutes in the microwave nowadays anyway, so that's not really saying much. Don't have a recipe though. ::blinks:: Spinach is good in it. Noodles and cheese and sauce, and spinach. I think I've had carrot shreds layered in, and zucchini. Zucchini is one of the best vegetables ever. ::ponder:: I know there's other stuff you can put in it, but nothing is coming to mind. ^___^

Also, I am still all jealous of your "get-out-of-work-early" card today. ^___^

As Garfield, I'm a lasagna addict (traditional or vegetarian (the last one with spinach and goat's milk cheese, but I have yet to cook some myself_got the thought several times but never actually made some, but I will someday!)
