I think a lot of people read In This Land by Matthew Haldeman-Time My roommate is a fan, so I bought her a year subscription for christmas.

She never fucking got it.

I've emailed him twice asking about it, and never heard a single fucking word. Obviously I ordered it at the end of December. It's now March.

I'm more than a little fucking pissed.

Tomorrow, he is getting yet another email, but this one is going to be not nearly so polite as the first two. I gave him money, he took it, all I want is a little bit of fucking communication.

I'm surprised that you didn't hear back from him, I had problems and he was very prompt, and really nice.

See, that's what I've always heard. So I'm rather confounded that so far I've heard nothing, and after so long. I double checked the email address to use, both times. So, I dunno. But I'm tired of being nice.

I think something has been up with him of late. There has been a lot of 'microphone tapping' on the mailing list, with people having password issues and not hearing from him. He recently apologized and said that he had supposedly fixed whatever issue paypal was having... but perhaps not all? Did you go through paypal?

Good luck. He posted in his lj this evening. You could perhaps leave a short note there, explaining that you haven't been able to get an email to him? I've always found him to be very nice, so I hope your experience gets better. *hugs*

And you got good weather. We've had rain all day today, and now the 30mph winds have picked up, and the temp is supposed to go below freezing. I can ice-skate to the metro!
