First, the scones:

I used a buttermilk scone recipe. I think some use sour cream? I'll try that the next time I play.

Second, the berry: Blackberry and macademia nuts, with a powdered sugar glaze to which I added vanilla extract. The roomie suggested a bit of lemon would be perfect, so that got added as well. She fully approved, and declared herself content with them.





Lastly, the sweet: Chocolate chips and peanut butter.





And now, my roommate is a massive dork <3:

2a. Have you tried the powdered buttermilk? Just add water.
Third, Zen gardening. Looked to see if they were anybodies I might know from stories. um, maybe.
3a. How do you keep the feline children from playing (and other things) in the garden? There's all this sand and people to bat out of the sand and ooooooo sand. And I need to claim this as mine minE Mine. I christian you my sandbox/litterbox.

It's tiny and extremely shallow. Not worth their notice, except it's in their way when they try to get to the window sill behind it.

Awww the zen garden looks wonderful! The scones all look wonderful, but the chcolate peanut butter ones sound amazing. Could I get the recpie some time (or at least what you tried!)?
