Thwarted

Yesterday the weather was gorgeous, after the rain stopped. The whole week was pretty. Today it's 55 fucking degreees >_o Which totally thwarts my plans to do massive spring cleaning, and I don't want to just half-ass tidy up in here. So I guess my ambitions are cut short for a bit. Hopefully the weather will improve tomorrow and I can clean then.

I luffs our kitties. It's always amusing to wake up and realize your legs are still asleep because two purring lumps have not budged from them for some time. ^_^ Roomie keeps her door closed, so the kitties always shack up with me. They like when I sleep in, 'cause it means they can lay on me that much longer.

Walked to BK to get breakfast. Saw not one but two empty bottles of cheap whiskey. The sidewalks around here and always littered with such things. Pleasant Ridge tries so hard to be a respectable, safe neighborhood - but when I told the new guy at work where I lived, his reaction said it all. >_o

So cleaning is on hold. That means writing and webpage.

55 is warm! 40's and 50's are the best temperatures. 30's and 60's are passable, but I hate the warm (70's, 80's, 90's, god-forbid 100's), and I only tolerate the cold (though -30 can be fun in that "my nose is falling off the instant I step outside" sort of way).

Ugh. Yankee. If the weather is below 70 I am generally not happy. I could deal with fifty, but right it's forty something and this displeases.

This past winter, I managed to avoid wearing more than a thick hoodie when I went outside.

Summer will have me complaining incessantly about how damn hot it is and how much my brains are melting. ^__~

They keep saying we're supposed to get snow here and I keep thinking that they're on the bad crack. Still, here's to hoping for sunshine and warmer weather. ^_^;;

Yay for a loafing day! (Hey, it's vacation, you need one or two of those days in there in between the cleaning. ;3)
