Yaoi House and Iris Print
May. 12th, 2008 02:16 pmThe best summation of what has been going down with Yaoi House is here
My new personal favorite part of this, however, is her method of dealing with the fallout:
She made a cute little video
Because that is so the most mature way to handle matters -__-
Speaking of people who like to hide from the problems they've created, instead of dealing with them as a professional (or at least as an adult), Iris Print is once more playing the silent game. I wonder what Dramatic Event has so consumed her this time that she's allowed her company to fall into disrepair. It's been over two months since she last said anything public (at leats to the best of my knowledge. Her blog on the site has been dead since March 3rd). Word is also going 'round she neglected to pay royalties to some of the writers.
All in all, extremely shitty performance. I do not follow all of this as closely as perhaps I should. I have a bad habit of mostly living in my own little world.
Let's hope we get no further drama from the other small print slash companies out there. Slash really doesn't need that sort of bad rap.
Stating the obvious at this point, but stay the fuck away from YH and IP. Yaoi House is in too tumultous a state at this point, and more important still -- she was making money by selling AnK fanfiction. I'm sorry, that's fucking crap. Unacceptable and contemptable. Iris Print nearly died once. She asked for help, got it, and now is doing the same thing all over again.
