I want to kill something
May. 28th, 2008 06:21 pmSo, to keep me out of jail, meme.
1. One book that changed your life.
I don't remember its name. We used to have this set of encylopedias, and it came with an awesome set of kids encylopedias. One of them was full of fairytales and folklore and gods, all kinds of stuff. I read it a million times. So many things I write, and remember, come from that book. I remember fairytales in it that I've never been able to find anywhere else.
2. One book that you've read more than once.
It by Stephen King
3. One book you'd want on a desert island.
A compilation of Tad Williams Otherland series. It would take me a million years to finish. And I've read it twice, already.
4. One book that made you laugh.
Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchet
5. One book that made you cry.
Short story, actually. The Last Rung on the Ladder by Stephen King
6. One book that you wish had been written.
Hmm. These days, if I want to see something, I write it - minus Two Princes, which I somehow got Moons to write. Mwahaha.
7. One book that you wish had never been written.
Anything by Anne Rice
8. One book you're currently reading.
The Alchemit's Apprentice by Dave Duncan. I read a book by him once and hated it, cause he likes a high body count and the MC was an asshole. But, this one seems okay so far. We'll see.
9. One book you've been meaning to read.
Hell, I buy books faster than I can read them. There's like fifty, easy.
Bonus question: What book scared you the most?
Another short story. The Boogeyman by Stephen King. To this day, no one in my family sleeps with the closet door open. That bitch gets closed.

Date: 2008-05-29 03:23 am (UTC)I tried to read a book by Dave Duncan years ago and couldn't make it through. I don't remember the name of the book. But I always wanted to try again because I've read a few short stories from him and liked them very well. So let me know how this one turns out, if you don't mind.
