My employers are now suddenly employing 'diversity' training. Yay, diversity in the workplace. Accepting all, no matter what. Let's all be friends.

Except, of course, all the homophobe jokes will continue unabated at the parties.

Did I ever mention the time, at work, when a guy said 'I talked to a couple of lesbians in a bar once. They were nice, they almost seemed human.'

I think this job is slowly destroying my soul. Will have to figure out what to do, but I'm thinking that come the end of the year, there will be some changes.

In other news, apparently at work yesterrday one of my coworkers fainted. I wish I had been there, because listening to the retelling made me cringe. It sounds like it took them at least ten minutes before anyone called fucking 911. *headdesk* Luckily, she's fine, and was just dehydrated liek woah.

Bought two books while I was with my homeslices. The Knight in History and Marriage and the Family in the Middle Ages. Shiiiiney.

Finished Champion, Nikery is going to beta it tonight, I think.

Now, I think I will put together package for my darling family, then get around to uploading my feeble collection of pictures from the reunion.

I'm sorry for being such a spaz yesterday. Hopefully what sanity I possess has restored itself. Days like that, I wonder if I shouldn't finally make two seperate journals for personal and writing. Hmm.

See, what you should do about work is print out copies one of your short stories that you don't have in book format and pin it on the cork boards with 'You all suck, get a grip: this is real life' written in the header.
