On the bright side, am getting Shadow's Return and Havemercy, in addition to the first three Nightrunner books and the Abhorsen series this week (and, ehehe, preordered something called 'the abhorsen chronicles' which comes out in December, and I hope it's shiney and new and not just what I already have redone).
I really do not want to go to work. I get to move boxes all day, the rest of the week is about as thrilling, and starting Friday I'm running solo for a whole week - but, on the 7th, the boss hopefully will be back *crosses fingers*
Tonight, must beat printer into submission so I can finally mail off package. Barring that, will finally give up and lug it to work to ship there. Stupid printer *kicks it*
Babble babble. So would rather stay here and work on more Embrace.
Sigh.

Date: 2008-06-23 10:28 pm (UTC)No, because one I have that and two it's called Across the Wall, not the Abhorsen Chronicles. Which means it must be new and shiney, w00t!

Date: 2008-06-23 03:14 pm (UTC)If you care to humor a reader who's still working the kinks out of LJ, could you direct me to chapters 1-2? I went to the tags of Embrace, but am unsure which is a writing exercises that you remade or the actual chapter. *Probably should just wait for the ebook to come out*

Date: 2008-06-23 07:37 pm (UTC)Since you said that you're getting the first three Nightrunner books, does that mean that you haven't read them yet? If not, then I sincerely hope that when you do, you enjoy them! They're quite fun (especially the third book which I've reread multiple times) and they overall are amusing and well written. :)
